We very much believe everyone can be taught art and more importantly enjoy it. It should be a discovery of oneself as much as anything else, offering the individual a life skill.

Art at the Barn Children's Courses are aimed at two age groupings. The eight to twelve year olds and the twelve to teenager group. Obviously each child has his/her own level of artistic ability so it is often down to the parent to choose the course relevant to their child and we are happy to assist with this selection.

For children sitting art scholarships or GCSE Art, the courses for the older grouping very much complement this area and pieces resulting from the day can be included in their portfolios.
